Natural medicine is private medicine and there are fees for consultations and treatments.  The fee for a 30 minute visit is $58.  Many patients are covered by some form of private insurance (usually through their work).  While the coverage varies from one insurance company to the next, many policies will cover up to 80% of the cost of visits to a maximum of so many hundreds of dollars per year.  Some patients have limited coverage under the B.C. Medical Plan through premium assistance (they do not pay for their B.C. Medical Card).  They have up to 10 short visits per year that are billed directly by the doctor to the B.C. Medical Plan.
