Toxic Metal Test

What is a toxic metal test?

A toxic metal test measures the heavy metals present in your body. Of the 15 metals identified, the most common are aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury and nickel. You are given oral medicines and if necessary an injection of an amino acid that binds to these metals that are then excreted out of your body via the urine. You collect your urine in a container for 6-8 hours at home and bring it back to the office where it is processed and sent to a laboratory for analysis. A detailed report clearly identifies the toxic metals present in your body.

Why test?

Heavy metals and other environmental pollutants wreak havoc on your body. Extensive research, including a cross Canada study of pollution in people,  found harmful toxic chemicals in every person tested. Contaminants found in the blood and urine included chemicals, heavy metals, PCBs, pesticides and insecticides. This modern day chemical cocktail in your body is responsible for many illnesses and diseases including heart disease, cancer, Parkinson’s, Alzhiemers, Multiple Sclerosis and so on. For most people the destruction starts as inflammatory disease such as skin conditions, digestive disorders, pain, arthritis, and allergies. Further breakdown of your immune system by toxins results in the major degenerative diseases (cancer and heart disease). Your body does not have the capacity to rid itself of these offending toxins and we are seeing what used to be considered old age diseases occurring in children and young adults.

Toxic metals are everywhere, in the air we breathe, food we eat, water we drink and products we use. A lot of the toxic pollution that surrounds us comes from industry, for example, electricity generation (particularly burning coal), manufacturing chemicals, making steel and paper, and extracting natural resources such as oil and gas. Chemical pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides are used extensively in farming. Everyday you are exposed to dangerous chemicals in your home from perfumes, shampoos, cosmetics, air fresheners, paint, household cleaning products, furniture and appliances, frying pans, and food and beverage containers. Global pollution and toxic exposure are so extensive that body contamination is unavoidable. Your body has become a filter that traps and accumulates toxins.

How do I get rid of toxic metals?

Toxic metals are removed through medical detoxification supervised by a physician specializing in this area. Several methods are utilized depending upon what is identified by the testing. Treatments include the injection of medicines into your blood stream, and oral detoxification medicines taken in capsule form by mouth. These medicines find and bind together with toxic metals, and are then excreted from the body in your urine and stool. Colon hydrotherapy is especially helpful at removing harmful wastes and toxins present in your colon.

Is there any good news?

Long term studies have shown conclusively that if you remove harmful metals such as lead and mercury from your body, you reduce the risk for cancer, heart disease and other chronic disease by up to 90% regardless of dietary and lifestyle changes. For example, Dr. W. Blumer, removed toxins from his patients over a period of 18 years and found that the incidence of cancer was reduced by 90% and heart disease by 80%. The toxic metal test is your first step to preventing and treating major illness and disease.
